Jan Harlan is Stanley Kubrick’s long-time producer. At this retreat, he shares unique insight into the making of masterpieces like “The Shining,” “Full Metal Jacket,” and “Eyes Wide Shut.” His firsthand experience reveals the creative process, collaboration, and script development behind legendary films.


Alongside he has his dear friend and co-worker Jim Fernald, who is bringing expertise from a leading European film school, Fernald guides participants through screenwriting fundamentals, encourages innovative storytelling, and provides personalized, constructive feedback that balances craft and creativity.
